How much can we understand a person?

How much can we tell about the people that we know?

I have known this person for more than a decade now.

And recently, we had a good conversation talking about how she grew up and what she had to go through recently.

I didn't realize until then how little I knew about her.

It is easy to judge people without really knowing them.

Even knowing each other for long time, how much do we really understand them??

I'd like to understand more about people.
Maybe that's why studying Psychology fascinated me a lot when I was younger.

Now I don't know how much the study really helping everyday life.

The truth is sometimes I still find it hard to understand myself..

Human being is complex and it's not as easy as conducting psychological test and analyzing the result.

But I still want to understand those I care and want to feel how they feel as well..

I don't know why, but it matters to me a lot.

I like John Cho.

John Cho was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to US when he was young.
He is married to an actress Kerri Higuchi and has a son.

John is not that well known in Japan yet but I 'm sure he will be famous soon.

I want to meet him one day and have a dinner together :)

Don't be afraid. Never hesitate.

It's been while again.
Amazing that still quite few people visit this bog.

I think one of the best way of improving the language skill is to study something using that language.

For example, if you like music, read about music in English. If you like dance, take dancing lessons with English speaking coach.

So, even before you get totally comfortable, just get out there and learn something with native speakers! You might have difficulties to begin with but you will find yourself getting used to the environment and improving your English skills dramatically.

You'll be amazed, your English might be actually better than some native English speakers who get mixed up with simple words such as "to" and "too."

Never ending!

I have been traveling for more than 3 months now.

When I was in Europe, I thought my English was quite good compared to most of the non-English speaking poeple.

Lots of people told me that "your English is perfect!"

I was very pleased to hear every time someone told me all that.

But now, I am back in English speaking countries and all my confident are gone as I realised I still need to learn so much!

I guess there is no ending for learning any languages!

If you are seriouse about studying English, I would recomend to take a look at this.

Free Internet around the world!

When you are traveling, you want to make sure you have internet access whenever you need it.

I am not having lap top with me, I have to find a place where they have Internet service wherever I go.

In Europe, I went 5 star hotels and they normally let you use the business center for free even you are not staying at their hotels. They don't even ask if you are staying at the hotel! So you can use it as long as you like as long as there is no people waiting.
For instance, I went the Four seasons hotel in Prague and Swisotel in Berlin etc.

They are very friendly! Thanks for all the hotel staffs in Europe!

However, the situation in US is different.
They charge quite bit for non-customer.
So in NY, had to pay about 3-5$ per hour for the internet Cafe.

But in San Francisco, you can use internet at apple store at the center of the city! That's why I love Apple!!

FREE TIBET!!

I am now in NY city.

There was a huge protest today in NY to free TIBET from Chinese government.

How little do we know about Tibet?

Do we get informed enough about what is really going on around the world by the media?

Traveling around Europe

I have been to Italy, Austria, Hungary, and now I am in Poland.

It's been great to meet new people and explore the world you have never been.

I am glad that I speak English but now realised so many people in Euorpe don't speak a word of English. And English is just one language that is widely spoken but not the perfect language that you can comunicate with absolutely everyone on this planet.

Still better than not speaking though.

I have met so many great people through this trip and feel so wonderful about this world.

You can make freinds anywhere in the world if you have open mind and heart!
